Jeff began his career in a ministry context, working with churches in West Texas and Oklahoma. Although he enjoyed working with families and adolescents in youth ministry, he wanted to develop his skill set to offer therapeutic services that were not included in ministry. Jeff began working with TFI immediately following his education at ACU in 2009. Building off his work in youth ministry, Jeff enjoys working with family systems, especially regarding the marital relationship and parenting issues. Jeff is also available to conduct seminars. He is a provider for the Twogether in Texas Pre-marital and Marital Enrichment program. Jeff has presented on Depression, Effective Communication Techniques, Substance Abuse, and Tobacco Cessation, among other areas of expertise. He provides a monthly seminar sponsored by TFI on parenting issues in divorce. He also co-hosts a weekly parenting podcast. Find out more information at his website: www.youneedacounselor.com.
